REAL ESTATE ACTIVITY JANUARY 2017 FOR ACTON AND AGUA DULCE
 

The following is real estate market activity for January 2017 for the Northern Los Angeles County’s equestrian communities of Acton and Agua Dulce where camaraderie among horse people is commonplace.

The number properties for sale in Acton is down again from last month. Currently the Multiple Listing Service shows 33-Active listings in Acton with an average list price of $574,510. The lowest Active in price in Acton is $159,500 and the highest Active price is $1,320,000. Last time there were 42-Active listings with an average list price of $543,129. And, in November there were 52 Active properties for sale. So, our inventory is down.

In Acton, the number of Pending Sales are up again and the listing prices are down some. Last time there was 26 listings and there are now 30. The average listing price of the Pending sales in Acton currently is $439,788 compared to $468,523 last time. The lowest Pending Sale in Acton is $209,000 and the highest is $685,000.

In January, we had 7-Closed Sales in Acton. This is compared to 5-Closed Sales in December. In January, we again see a decrease in the average Selling price at $494,571. In December, the average Selling price was $523,255. The lowest Sale in Acton in January was $275,000 and the highest was $675,000.

In Agua Dulce, the inventory of available homes is slightly down and the asking prices are up some too. There are 18-Active listings, whereas there were 22 last time. The average listing price is $1,830,036 compared to $1,683,609 last time. The Agua Dulce Winery listing priced at $12,800,000 is responsible for the average higher price. The lowest Active price in Agua Dulce is $279,900 and the highest Active price without the winery is $3,200,00.

Pending sales are up. There were 8-Pending Sales in Agua Dulce with an average list price of $556,463, whereas there were 6 last time, with an average list price was $573,817.  The lowest Pending Sale in Agua Dulce is $189,900 and the highest Pending Sales price was $770,000.

In January, the number of Sales in Agua Dulce remained the same as last time at 6-Closed Sales. The average Selling price in Agua Dulce was up some at $594,350. Last time the average Selling price was $555,483. The lowest Sale price was $435,000 and the highest was $657,100

MARCH 2017 EQUESTRIAN EVENTS FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE LOS ANGELES AREA

Only one month left of winter. And, hopefully we will get warmer weather too. In the meantime, bundle up and attend an equestrian event with family and friends at one Los Angeles’s horse shows listed below.

The number of equestrian events is limited again this month. I have listed below the equestrian events and horse shows that I know of in Southern California and the Los Angeles area for March 2017.

March 5. Acton. Acton Rangers Gymkhana. Saddle Series open to all ages. Buckle Series open to participants 25 years and older. First Sunday of each month, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Vincent Hill Arena 553 W. Sierra Hwy next to the Metro Link station.

March 6. Lancaster. Lancaster Horse and Tack Auction. First Monday of each month. 9:00 am to 12:30 pm check-in for tack. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm check-in for horses.
