REAL ESTATE ACTIVITY NOVEMBER 2016 FOR ACTON AND AGUA DULCE
 

The following is real estate market activity for November 2016 for the Northern Los Angeles County’s equestrian communities of Acton and Agua Dulce where camaraderie among horse people is commonplace.

The number properties for sale in Acton is up slightly from last month. Currently the Multiple Listing Service shows 52-Active listings in Acton and the average listing price is $525,691. The lowest Active in price in Acton is $269,000 and the highest Active price is $1,325,000. Last month there were 48-Active listings with an average list price of $520,775.

In Acton, the number of Pending Sales is about the same and the listing prices are down. Last time there was 17 and there are now 18. The average listing price of the Pending sales in Acton currently is $496,650 compared to $532,210 last time. The lowest Pending Sale in Acton is $290,000 and the highest is $692,000.

In November, we had 6-Closed Sales in Acton. This is compared to 8-Closed Sales in October. We see a large increase in the average Selling price in November at $620,333. In October, the average Selling price was $411,538. The lowest Sale in Acton in November was $418,000 and the highest was $805,000.

In Agua Dulce, the inventory of available homes is down slightly but, the asking prices are higher. There are 23-Active listings, whereas there were 26 last month. The average listing price is $1,608,346 compared to $1,445,371 last time. The Agua Dulce Winery listing priced at $12,800,000 is responsible for the average higher price. The lowest Active price in Agua Dulce is $252,500 and the highest Active price without the winery is $2,890,000.

Pending sales are remaining about the same. There are 10-Pending Sales in Agua Dulce whereas there were 9 last time, with an average list price of $542,680. Last month the average list price was $559,155.  The lowest Pending Sale in Agua Dulce is $245,000 and the highest Pending Sales price was $650,000.

In November, the number of Sales and Sold prices in Agua Dulce remained about the same as last time. In November, there were 5-Closed Sales with an average Selling price of $588,800. In October, there were 4-Closed Sales with an average Selling price of $592,000. The lowest Sale in Agua Dulce in November was $375,000 and the highest was $1,050,000.

JANUARY 2017 EQUESTRIAN EVENTS FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE LOS ANGELES AREA

Winter is here. So, take a break after all the hustle and bustle of December and attend an equestrian event with family and friends at one of Southern California’s horse shows listed below.

Again, the number of equestrian events is limited this month. I have listed below the equestrian events and horse shows that I know of in Southern California and the Los Angeles area for January 2017.
