MARCH 2014 REAL ESTATE ACTIVITY FOR THE EQUESTRIAN COMMUNITIES OF ACTON, AGUA DULCE & SAND CANYON 
 
The following is the real estate market activity for March for the Northern Los Angeles County’s equestrian communities of Acton, Agua Dulce and Sand Canyon where camaraderie among horse people is common place.
 
In March the Multiple Listing Service shows the inventory of available properties is still low and the count is remaining about the same with the exception of Agua Dulce that had a few more properties for sale. In both Agua Dulce and Sand Canyon there was an increase in the selling price.  In Acton there were 10-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $388,850.  In February there were 6-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $377,833. In January there were 5-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $338,680. In December 9-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $354,278. In November there were 8-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $496,722. In Agua Dulce there were 3-Closed Sales with an average sales price of $573,333. In February there were 3-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $363,000. In January there were 2-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $365,000. In December 4-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $387,875. In November there were 4-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $479,250. In Sand Canyon there were 3-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $1,023,000. In February 3-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $825,000. In January there were 2-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $1,087,500. In December 2-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $882,750. In November there were 8-Closed Sales and the average sales price was $847,124.
 
Acton real estate has 26-Active properties on the market with an average listing price of $588,756. The lowest Active price is $256,000 and the highest Active price is $1,799,000. There are 21-Pending Sales in Acton with an average listing price of $396,043. The lowest Pending sale is $195,000 and the highest Pending sales price is $624,900. There were 10-Sales in Acton that closed escrow in March with an average Sales price of $388,850. The lowest Sale was $206,000 and the highest was $575,000. 
 
Agua Dulce real estate has 27-Active properties on the market with an average listing price of $747,365. The lowest Active price is $323,500and the highest Active price is $2,200,000. There are 10-Pending Sales in Agua Dulce with an average listing price of $509,738. The lowest Pending sale is $399,987 and the highest Pending sales price is $729,500. There were 3-Sales reported in Agua Dulce that closed escrow in March with an average Sales price of $573,333. The lowest Sale was $440,000 and the highest was $720,000. 
 
The area of Sand Canyon in Canyon Country has 18-Active properties on the market with an average listing price of $1,406,155. The lowest Active price is $540,000 and the highest Active price is $3,900,000. There are 11-Pending Sales in Sand Canyon with an average listing price of $871,064. The lowest Pending sale is $254,900 and the highest Pending sales price is $2,149,000. There were 3-Sales in Sand Canyon that closed escrow in March with an average Sales price of $1,023,000. The lowest Sale was $829,000 and the highest was $1,330,000.
