REAL ESTATE ACTIVITY NOVEMBER 2017 FOR ACTON AND AGUA DULCE
 

The following is real estate market activity for November 2017 for the Northern Los Angeles County’s equestrian communities of Acton and Agua Dulce where camaraderie among horse people is commonplace.

The inventory of homes for sale in Acton is about the same as is the average listing price.  Currently the Multiple Listing Service shows 44-Active listings in Acton with an average List price of $700,845. The lowest Active price in Acton is $304,900 and the highest Active price is $1,700,000. Last time there were 48-Active listings with an average list price of $707,776.

In Acton, the number of Pending sales and listing prices are about the same as October with 16-Pending sales and an average listing price of $630,981. And, as before the lowest Pending sale in Acton is $279,000 and the highest is Blum Ranch at $1,999,999. Last time there were 14-Pending sales with an average Pending sale list price was $628,153.

In November Acton had about half the number of closed sales that October had with 6-Closed sales, compared to 11-Closed sales. We see an increase in the average Selling price of $547,667. The lowest sale price was $390,000 and the highest was $601,000. In October the average selling price was $512,482.

In Agua Dulce, the inventory of available homes is down some from last time. There are 19-Active listings. The average listing price is $1,026,779 down from last time with the Agua Dulce Winery that was priced at $11,800,000 no longer on the market. The lowest Active price in Agua Dulce is $209,900 and the highest Active priced property is Sweetwater Movieland Ranch at $2,600,000. Last time there were 23-Active listings with an average list price $1,430,078.

The number of Pending sales are the same as last time with 7-Pending Sales. The listing prices of Pending sales are down substantially with an average list price of $569,129, compared with an average list price in October of $658,128. Currently the lowest Pending sale in Agua Dulce is $418,000 and the highest Pending sales price is $799,000.

In November, there were 4-Closed Sales in Agua Dulce. The average Selling price in Agua Dulce is up substantially at $848,000. The lowest Sale price was $239,000 and the highest was $1,698,000. In October there were 4-Closed Sales, with an average Selling price of $537,000.

Remember if you are looking to purchase horse property in the Los Angeles area, there is no better place than the equestrian property communities of Acton and Agua Dulce.

JANUARY 2018 EQUESTRIAN EVENTS FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE LOS ANGELES AREA

 

Winter is here and so is cooler weather. Now may be a good time attend an equestrian event with family and friends at one of Southern California and Los Angeles area horse shows listed below. I have listed the few equestrian events and horse shows that I know of in Southern California and the Los Angeles area for January 2018. 

January 1. Lancaster. Lancaster Horse and Tack Auction. First Monday of each month. 9:00 am to 12:30 pm check-in for tack. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm check-in for horses.
